Lactobacillus acidophilus

A classic lactic acid bacterium that supports vaginal flora, lactose digestion, and intestinal defense.

What it is

Lactobacillus acidophilus is a well-established probiotic bacterium naturally found in the human mouth, gut, and vaginal tract. Produced via controlled dairy or vegan fermentation and freeze-drying, L. acidophilus ferments sugars into lactic acid. Lactobacillus acidophilus plays a vital acidifying role in multi-strain formulations. By converting simple carbohydrates into L-lactic acid, L. acidophilus substantially lowers local luminal pH.
